An important decision was made Wednesday at a cabinet meeting. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar informed about the decision and said that 11 lakh 52 thousand railway employees will be given equal bonus of 78 days salary this year. It will cost Rs 2,000 crore. Javadekar said the decision had been taken in view of the productivity and morale of the employees. Bonus has been given to railway employees for the last 6 years.

Informing the government about the decision, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that this time, 78 lakh bonus will be given to 11 lakh 52 thousand employees of the Railways. This will cost the Railways Rs 2024 crore. For the last 6 years, the Central Government has been providing bonuses to the railway employees. This decision of the central government is the productivity reward of rail workers.
